Do I need an appointment and how do they work?
We are not by appointment only but to ensure there will be a fitting room and consultant available to help you try on gowns, we do recommend them . However, if you happen to stop by without an appointment we will always try to accommodate you, but priority will be given to those with an appointment. We allot approximately one hour and a half per appointment.
What and who should I bring to my appointment?
We have bras and shoes for you to try on with the gowns. However, if you already have your shoes, bra or other accessories you can bring those with you to get a better idea of what you will look like on your special day. Brides want to bring some family member(s) or friend(s) to the appointment. We encourage you to have no more than 2-4 guests as it may become overwhelming for you. Lots of opinions can be a little unsettling.
What is the typical order time?
Once a dress is ordered, it usually takes 4-6 months to arrive in our boutique. Remember these gowns are not made until the order is placed. Many of our designers can do a “rush” on a gown, or on certain styles, for a small fee. Also allowing for alterations is a must in calculating your time line.
We can offer off the rack purchase of many of our gowns if you are working with a shorter time line.
What is the average cost of a gown at The Spoiled Lady?
Our gowns range in price from $599 to $2000 with the average price of a gown being between $1000 and $1500. We do offer layaway for a 6 month period on our off the rack purchases. Our policy on ordering gowns is a 50% deposit and the balance within 10 days of the gowns arrival in our boutique.
